Tomahawk Steak Short Rib

Short Rib Tomahawk steak is a scotch fillet on the bone that has 3 or more inches of extra rib bone for presentation purposes. It's called a "tomahawk" cut because the steak with the long bone resembles a single-handed axe. Like it's mate the cattlemans cutlet but it has ll the good stuff around it for added flavor This particular cut of steak is also referred to as the "cowboy steak" or a "bone-in ribeye".
